Wugang City, spanning 640 square kilometers with a population of over 320,000, faced the massive logistical challenge of modernizing its urban management. With limited manpower and a sprawling geography, the city’s existing surveillance was underutilised.

Central hub connecting all platforms to form a unified management platform. AI-generated events are transmitted to the platform for automatic processing and manual review for the dispatch of law enforcement personnel. This streamlined process ensures a fully controlled and audited process that can be completed quickly upon receiving the events alerts.

The Result

Wugang City moved from a reactive, static surveillance model to a dynamic, intelligence-led urban management system:

  • Unprecedented Scale: Successfully connected and managed over 2,100 CCTVs (as of 2022) into one unified management interface.

  • Proven Responsiveness: As of 2023, the system helped address 18,273 out of 18,495 reported city matters, demonstrating a near-perfect resolution rate.

  • Actionable Intelligence: The platform has generated over 35,000 automated event alerts (as of 2024), significantly reducing the need for manual patrolling.
